YouTube offline is now available in Nepal

YouTube offline is now available in NepalYouTube is a platform to upload, share and watch videos. It's also a medium for people to connect, inform, and inspire others across the globe.

This free video sharing website introduced its offline feature sometime ago, and users in Nepal, who are often irritated with the video taking forever to buffer, were desperately waiting for the feature to work here. Well their prayers have been answered now. Users in Nepal can now use YouTube's offline feature here.
Basically, with this feature, you will be able to watch videos without an Internet connection. For this to work, you need to download the video you want to watch offline. (But keep in mind that not all videos on YouTube are available for offline viewing.) When you tap on the download button ( ) of your chosen video, you will be given an option to choose the quality of the video to be downloaded. 720P and 360P are available.

Once the download is complete, it is saved under Offline category, which is the only category available to view when your phone isn't connected to any network. You can click on any video saved in the Offline category and it will play.

The downloaded videos will be deleted on their own if you don't connect to the Internet in 48 hours.

The YouTube app has an inbuilt special encryption and decryption system, which doesn't let you to transfer the downloaded videos to other smart phones or computer. When you download a video for offline viewing, the video is downloaded in different chunks or parts. Only the YouTube app can make sense of these chunks and join them together.

If you decide to send the video via Bluetooth, the web link will be sent instead.

Note: Don't forget to update the YouTube app on your device for the offline feature to work.
